“Should we sell or renovate our home?”
This is a very common question…and it’s a great one.
Whenever we get this question we always suggest setting up a time when we can take a look at your home and talk about the best plan for your family.
When clients come to us with questions about renovating, some come with ideas for large projects, such as kitcheners, and others want to do several small things.
One of the main variables that can have an impact on our advice on renovations is the “when”. When do you intend on moving next? If you’re thinking of moving soon, our advice will obviously be based on what you should and shouldn’t do in the short term. If your moving plan is more of a long-term plan, even three or four years from now, you want to make sure you’re going to get back the money you spend on renovations.
