We haven’t even started and our mouths are watering. Pizza is a staple go-to Friday or Saturday night meal in a lot of households. Everyone has their favourites; whether its based on family tradition, topping selection, or really anything else, most Kitchener-Waterloo favourites will tell you what they love.
When we got on the topic of “the best pizza in Kitchener-Waterloo” we started going through ours. So here are the Top Pizza Places in Kitchener-Waterloo based on our team and their families. (Note: this is alphabetical. We really couldn’t rank all these delicious options)
Famoso
You’ll find this Nepolitan pizzeria in Uptown Waterloo right beside the train tracks. This place really brings the taste of Naples to Waterloo with its authentic Neopolitan pizzas, pastas, artisan gelato and so much more. Step inside and the first thing you’ll see is the large pizza oven. It’s a great place to go with the family for a fun, inviting atmosphere, and great pizza!
McMullen’s
McMullen’s sits on Highland Road West in Kitchener. We used to be fortunate enough to have 2 locations (one in Uptown Waterloo), but now the original McMullens in Kitchener is the go-to for their scrumptious pizza. It’s a great place to be if you’re craving a great pizza and a pint to go with it. They offer pizzas, panzerottis and even pizza soup!
Pepi’s Pizza
If you’re new to Kitchener-Waterloo, or just haven’t been exploring the pizza scene, you have to go to Pepi’s Pizza (or have them come to you!). With 3 locations (Water St, King St, and Courtland Ave E), there’s always a location nearby ready to serve you a hot pie. Pepi’s has been around for over 50 years serving up awesome hand-made pizza.
