Why we love it: City Café Bakery is one of our favourites because we can stop by for a coffee and grab a number of delicious treats to go with it. Not to mention they have delicious wood-fired pizza! With a number of locations, it’s convenient to always be close to a great cup of coffee. What gives these cafés such charm is their honour system for self-paying. They’ve have faith in humanity and really value the honesty of their customers. This unique value has created such a sense of community.
Café O Roaster & Bakery

Why we love it: This is definitely one of our favourite places to grab a cup of coffee in town. We especially love it because it shares a parking lot with our offices! But aside from the convenience, this is a fantastic café! Their coffee hits the spot. Café O specializes in espresso-based coffee as well as coffee roasting, so they roast their own beans which is an A+ in our books. Plus they offer a variety of decadent snacks, cakes and pastries and delicious options for lunch. We love it because we can grab coffee and lunch on the go, or stay in to eat in their charming café
The Boat House

Why we love it: This isn’t exactly a coffee shop, but if you’re looking for the best view while you sip on your java, you’ve got to check out The Boat House. The Boat House is a live music venue at Victoria Park. It’s a place to enjoy great food, a few drinks and some fantastic music. But if you’re setting up a coffee date, it has the perfect patio overlooking Victoria Park Lake.
