Earlier this year I flew off to Vegas for the 2017 RE/MAX National Convention. It was an inspiring few days of connecting with top agents across North America and beyond, sharing powerful ideas, and spreading the word about our high-end listings.

It was great to connect with Ivan Sher, who handles high-end listings in Vegas. Ivan spoke to the Cross-Canada Referral (CCR) group I’m a part of to strengthen our ability to relocate our clients across Canada.

My key takeaway from Ivan was that it’s “all about contacts”. He has people coming across the globe to guy high-end real estate in Vegas. We’re finding it’s the same in Kitchener-Waterloo; it’s more strategic to have a REALTOR® who is globally connected like I am. Attending national and international networking events like this is so important to me because it means making and maintaining global connections to help get the word out about my client’s homes.

While I was in Vegas, I also made it a priority to connect with Broker-Owners from across the globe.

There was so much to take in, including inspirational speaks who really touched me and reminded me how important perseverance and dedication is.
