Why Isn’t My Neighbour’s House Selling?
This is a common question. It’s often followed by “what’s wrong with the home?”
Often my answer is that there may be nothing wrong with the home. The problem lies in the selling strategy. It’s not enough to put a home on the market and wait for it to sell. It takes strategy, great communication skills, and knowledge of the real estate market to sell a home. Placing a for sale sign on the front yard and “hoping” is not enough.
One of the reasons I sell homes is that I focus on speaking with agents who have buyers. Throughout my career, I’ve developed some great language that encourages sales, and I have absolutely no problem lending that to a buyer’s agent to get them interested in a home I’m selling, and actually get an offer.
It takes a lot more than “hope” to sell a home. You have to be proactive and strategic!
